Enter to win an LP full of unreleased Jerry Lee Lewis material
Later this month, Saguaro Road Records will release The Knox Phillips Sessions: The Unreleased Recordings Of Jerry Lee Lewis. Set to tape in the late ‘70s at Phillips Recording in Memphis by Knox Phillips (son of Sun Records head Sam Phillips), The Knox Phillips Sessions find Lewis set free, exploring different realms of his musical subconscious and taking what a press release describes as “a musical walkabout.” It’s an interesting premise, for sure, and something worth exploring, especially since The A.V. Club is giving away 10 copies of the 180-gram LP to its readers. To enter, e-mail [email protected] with “Jerry Lee” in the subject line. Please include your full name, e-mail address, and mailing address. Winners will be selected and notified on Wednesday, September 10. Estimated retail value of the LP is $24.99.
