Erase Errata, one of the early aughts’ most unsung and angular post-punk groups, is making a quiet return. The group has been on hiatus for four years, but its last record, Nightlife, actually came out in 2006. (Its first two records, Other Animals and At Crystal Palace, came out in 2001 and 2003 respectively.) Now the group has announced a new record, Lost Weekend, which it will release on January 20 on its own Under The Sun label. The first single, “My Life In Shadows,” is below. It definitely has a slightly beachier vibe than a lot of the group’s earlier work, but it’s still pretty good.
