Eric Roberts gets a day job with The Young And The Restless

Eric Roberts is pulling a James Franco and signing up for daytime television with CBS’ The Young And The Restless, which suddenly makes your grandmother’s “stories” slightly more worthwhile. Roberts got his start in soaps, appearing on Another World in the '70s, and he will debut with Young on July 12 for a run through August, according to Entertainment Weekly. Roberts will portray an attorney defending Adam Wilson (Michael Muhney) who recently escaped prison and faked his death. We may assume Roberts' character will be shot, sleep with four women (maybe a  man, too), overdose, lose his job, and become hospital chief all in a matter of episodes.
