Not that he hasn't been struggling to do this for the past nine years, but Jason Alexander may have found some kind of home outside the Seinfeld purgatory that exists within any discerning viewer's DVR. For better or worse, he'll play a recurring character on an untitled new ABC cop-comedy pilot. (Beyond joking, you folks have gone batshit with new cop shows this time.) Hollywood Reporter says that if the series goes on, he'll show up as an internal-affairs officer "responsible for tracking down 'bad apples,'"—perhaps in futile, George-like pursuits?
