Eva Green gets crucial non-Johnny Depp role in Tim Burton's Dark Shadows

Denied his first suggestion of “just putting Johnny Depp in a dress and doing it split-screen,” Tim Burton has cast Eva Green as the witch Angelique in his big-screen adaption of Dark Shadows, where Green will engage in a smoldering love-hate relationship with Depp’s vampire Barnabas Collins—which is a diplomatic way of saying they have a tendency to kill each other, repeatedly. Truly, they are the Sam and Diane of the underworld. This is actually the second “witch” role that Green will take on this year, as she’s also due to play the sorceress Morgan (or Morgana Le Fay) in the upcoming Camelot series on Starz. It’s the eyebrows, isn’t it?
