Even Ann Coulter is turning on Donald Trump
It’s mean and low to make fun of people’s appearances, but when that person is Ann “without fat girls, there would be no protests” Coulter, we’re willing to make an exception, if only for parity’s sake. On that note, if you ever wanted to know what it would look like to watch a skeleton wrestle a baby pig, just hang tight, because even Ann Coulter is finding it difficult to defend Donald Trump these days. She said as much in a new interview with conservative site The Daily Caller, where Coulter, who once said that she worships Trump like the “people of North Korea worship their Dear Leader,” said, “this isn’t North Korea, and if he doesn’t keep his promises I’m out.”
Coulter, whose latest book is called In Trump We Trust, said she’s “not very happy with what has happened so far” in the Trump administration, which is “weird because I really think in his heart he’s a genuine patriot.” But “it’s just that it has been such a disaster so far.” She’s not mad at Trump for the same reasons half of registered voters presumably are, though—Coulter, who is a proud “single issue voter” on the single issue of racism towards Mexican people, is pissed that Donny and the gang aren’t making enough progress on building “the wall” they promised. She also disapproves of Trump involving his children in government affairs, calling it “the one fascist thing he’s done.”
So yeah, the enemy of my enemy is still Ann fucking Coulter. But hearing her say that ”I think all of the Trump true believers are petrified” and that if he can’t turn things around, maybe “the Trump-haters were right” is a uniquely satisfying experience. Savor it, before Trump tweets some crazy shit about China and the fear of nuclear annihilation takes over our collective consciousness once more.
