Even Outlander’s Claire and Jamie are shocked by all the shit they’ve been through

Starz’s hit show Outlander returned this past Sunday, this time landing Claire and Jamie (Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan) in North Carolina in 1767, just before the American Revolution. Over the course of four seasons, the time-jumping couple has gone through a shocking amount of shit, battling British redcoats, being separated by decades, and having to restart their lives over and over again. In this video from our interview with the Outlander stars, Balfe and Heughan tell us what it’s like to play a pair of perennially unlucky characters.
