It appears that even Eliza Dushku doesn’t think that an Eliza Dushku-starring series sounds promising: She’s already abandoned the TNT drama pilot Bird Dog, which would have starred Dushku as a lady cop awkwardly partnered with her father. (Something you already surmised from the title, right? Dogs = detectives.) No reason has been given so far for her sudden exit, although it’s possible she just now got around to reading the network’s show description.
