Comedy Bang! Bang! will return to IFC on June 3 for a fifth season of couch interviews and ensemble descriptions, when new bandleader “Weird Al” Yankovic will play host Scott Aukerman onto the set for the first time. But since that leaves an awful lot of time to kill, IFC has gone ahead and released the names of the very special guests who will drop by and chat—sometimes contentiously—with Aukerman.
The list is a who’s who of just about everyone we’d want to see on CBB, and several people we’ve already seen on CBB. There are newcomers (to the show) like Kevin Bacon, Nathan Fielder, Tegan And Sara, Kaley Cuoco, Aubrey Plaza, Joe Jonas (Brothers), and Kate Berlant (The Characters). Aukerman will also welcome back Kristen Schaal, Lauren Lapkus, Paul Rust, The Lonely Island, Tony Hale, Ben Schwartz, and Bobby Moynihan, among other famous and/or funny people. Now that your breath has been properly bated, you can look forward to a two-episode premiere on June 3, followed by eight more episodes through July 1, with the rest of the season rolling out on IFC in the fall.
