Into It. Over It., the much lauded project of Chicago’s Evan Weiss, released its second album in 2013. Intersections strikes a balance between tightly woven riffs and propulsive songwriting, and in celebration of that the band held a record release show at Chicago’s Schubas in October. The great local video site Made Of Chalk was there to film the proceedings, and The A.V. Club is premiering one of the videos from that night, a live version of “Spinning Thread,” Intersections’ spirited second track. Weiss will also be making his network television debut on Last Call With Carson Daly, which will feature clips from this performance, as well as other tracks from the Intersections release show.
