Explore new worlds multiple times with the Interstellar Unlimited Ticket

After explaining that people intent on nitpicking the science in Interstellar probably just need to go see the movie again, Christopher Nolan has come forward to defend another aspect of his hard sci-fi epic. Nolan tells The Hollywood Reporter that the film’s theater-rattling sound mix was an “adventurous and creative” choice that presumably, once again, needs multiple viewings to fully be appreciated and/or understood.

Basically, the point of all this is that there’s no excuse to see Interstellar just once, especially now that AMC theaters is offering an unlimited Interstellar ticket that allows moviegoers to have their ears blown out in IMAX as often as they please. The passes will be available to AMC Stubs members, who can purchase them at the box office at participating locations for prices varying from $19.99 to $34.99. Upgrades are also available for $14.99 for Stellar-heads who have already purchased a ticket to see the movie at an AMC theater. The one downside to AMC’s plan is its timing, as Olive Garden’s Never Ending Pasta Pass promotion is now over, eliminating the possibility of a Groundhog Day-type scenario involving going on the same thrifty, vaguely underwhelming date over and over again.
