Fall Out Boy also wants in on this Cubs World Series action

The statistical improbability of the Chicago Cubs’ 2016 run on the World Series has drawn all sorts of interest from high-profile Wrigley Field fans, looking to be part of a potential miracle. Now, Billboard reports that Fall Out Boy’s Patrick Stump is getting in on the act, singing the national anthem at tonight’s home game in Chicago.

Stump and his band are long-time fans of the Cubbies, including a performance at opening day in 2015. He’ll join other big name team supporters—most notably Bill Murray, who’ll be handling “Take Me Out To The Ball Game” duties during the seventh-inning stretch—as they root the team toward a potential 2-1 Series lead over the Cleveland Indians during tonight’s game 3.
