Fangoria is making a movie about delivering pizza to Satanists
With Hulu developing an anthology series inspired by the Satanic Panic of the ‘80s and ‘90s, it’s clear that dark and unholy rituals are cooler than they’ve been in years. Following that lead, Fangoria’s new movie studio has announced a project literally called Satanic Panic, but it’s even less about the real-life event than Hulu’s show is. According to Deadline, Fangoria’s Satanic Panic will be a dark comedy about a pizza delivery girl who discovers that her final order of the night is going to a house of “high society Satanists in need of a virgin sacrifice.”
The script was written by Grady Hendrix, who came up with the idea with his Mohawk co-writer Ted Goeghegan. Deadline says the studio is going to begin looking for a director “shortly.” This will be Fangoria’s second film from its new movie branch, with the first being Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich.
