Fargo’s Bokeem Woodbine is going to crash Spider-Man: Homecoming
Spider-Man: Homecoming continues to assemble a cast that makes the sound of another Spider-Man movie incredibly appealing rather than tedious. The latest to join is Bokeem Woodbine, the man who walked away with the second season of Fargo last year as the smooth-talking Mike Milligan. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Woodbine has been cast as a villain in the Sony-Marvel co-production. Michael Keaton and Logan Marshall-Green will also reportedly play thorns in Spidey’s side. Details of their roles are scarce, so it’s unclear whether their characters are all working together to pester Peter, but it’s an enticing trio.
Woodbine’s casting follows news this week that Hannibal Buress and Beast of No Nation’s Abraham Attah will also be in the movie. So now the Homecoming cast has a bevy of excellent character actors, a pop/Disney star, a variety of acclaimed young people, and some beloved comedy stars, among others. Soon every person whose work you’ve ever appreciated will be in this movie.
