Farrah Fawcett, Bea Arthur, Ricardo Montalban, Ed McMahon omitted from Oscar tribute

The Oscars always manages to leave a notable name or two off its annual In Memoriam tribute. But as MTV News reports, during last night's ceremony—which, let's admit, was a choppy, lurching, and times bat-shit-bizarre mess—four fairly significant celebrities were glaringly omitted from the James Taylor-soundtracked montage: Farrah Fawcett, Bea Arthur, Ed McMahon, and Ricardo Montalban, all of whom died in 2009. Granted, the four were better known for  TV work, but all had film credits (besides being, you know, all famous and beloved and stuff). So far the Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences hasn't released a statement regarding the omissions.
