Though not nearly as cryptic as his American Horror Story promos, the first teaser for Ryan Murphy’s Feud is still pretty brief. For anyone familiar with the epic rivalry between Joan Crawford and Bette Davis, the woman in the wheelchair and the unappetizing meal set before her already have plenty of context. Those less versed in Hollywood history might want to fasten their seatbelts, because it’s going to be one bumpy night.
The first installment of the anthology series centers on the screen legends, and the infamous making of Whatever Happened to Baby Jane? Susan Sarandon stars as Bette Davis (whom Murphy has said only got top billing in the title because of her place in the alphabet), with AHS stalwart Jessica Lange taking her on as Joan Crawford. Feud premieres March 5 on FX.
