The numbers aren't that impressive, but an Associated Press story says Festivus poles are selling a little more this year, despite the stigma created by the Michael Richards incident. However, a while ago, Wisconsin Governor Jim announced that he's basically renounced the holiday in light of the incident and decided not to erect a Festivus pole at his mansion. Do folks a favor, Festivus celebrators: As you're voicing your grievances, maybe you can bitch out the people who made Richards flipping out the biggest race-relations story of the year, as opposed to, say, any of the other race-relations issues people will actually give a shit about a year from now.
