Feud moves from the Hollywood hills to Buckingham Palace for season 2

Ahead of the premiere of Feud: Bette And Joan, FX has picked up Ryan Murphy’s latest anthology series for a second season—and announced its subject. Having chronicled the hatred that simmered between Bette Davis and Joan Crawford before, during, and after the making of Whatever Happened To Baby Jane?, Feud will skip across the pond to depict the acrimony and alimony of Charles, Prince of Wales and the late Lady Diana Spencer. Jon Robin Baitz (late of Brothers & Sisters and NBC’s adaptation of The Slap) will be Murphy’s co-writer on the second season, and though the announcement makes no mention of casting, it’s not too far out of the realm of possibilities to imagine Murphy muse Sarah Paulson showing up on your TV trailed by a 25-foot train at some point in 2018.

Feud: Bette And Joan premieres Sunday, March 5 at 10 p.m. Eastern on FX.
