Fifty Shades Darker gets hit with a very expected R rating
The next Fifty Shades movie will once again be just dirty enough to get people tittering, but not so explicit as to truly scandalize anyone. Just like its predecessor, Fifty Shades Darker had been rated R. The MPAA has given it this label, per Coming Soon, for “strong erotic sexual content, some graphic nudity, and language.” We guess the sequel, unlike Fifty Shades Of Grey, does not feature any “unusual behavior.”
The trailer for the follow-up came out back in September and teased some fancy masks and jealous ex-lovers. Darker once again stars Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele and Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey, but this time James Foley is directing instead of Sam Taylor-Johnson. It comes out on Valentine’s Day for all your unhealthy relationship needs.
