Fifty Shades Of Grey now has a writer, because better late than never
Though it seemed for a while there that The Killing's Veena Sud may be the writer chosen to adapt the burning, unfettered dreams of all womankind into movie form, Sud was revealed not to be the Fifty Shades Of Grey screenwriter in a last-minute twist of anal beads. Instead, former Terra Nova writer Kelly Marcel will transpose her talent for withholding from dinosaurs to affection, bringing to life E.L. James' erotic typing in the first of what promises to be a trilogy exploring the sexual relationship between a college student, a handsome billionaire, and readers who don't mind essentially looking at porn on the bus. Marcel most recently wrote Disney's making-of-Mary Poppins film Saving Mr. Banks, which also concerns a rocky relationship revolving around a contract, albeit with slightly less spanking.
