Final Deadpool 2 trailer takes shots at Cable, Domino, the DCEU, basically everyone

As is increasingly the case, we won’t have to wait long between superhero movies—just three weeks after Avengers: Infinity War fires its opening salvo, Deadpool 2 is poised to hit theaters like Colossus (Stefan Kapicic). Or Cable (Josh Brolin). Or Bedlam (Terry Crews), though, if he sticks to his comic-book origins, he won’t have to lay a finger on anyone to hurt them.

The final trailer for the Ryan Reynolds-led superhero flick doesn’t elaborate on Bedlam’s abilities, but it does properly introduce him and the rest of X-Force, including Zazie Beetz as Domino—though her “lucky” abilities fail to impress during the interview—and Lewis Tan as Shatterstar. Oh, and Rob Delaney shows up as Peter who, despite not having any mutant powers, is still invited to be part of the big rescue.

In the sequel, Deadpool assembles this “superduper fucking group” to protect a young mutant named Russell (Julian Dennison) from Cable. The grizzled time traveler has little tolerance for Deadpool’s quips, which is why the merc with a mouth wonders if he hasn’t wandered over from the Snyderverse by mistake. That joke’s a bit old, but Deadpool 2 went into production before Wonder Woman and Justice League lightened up the DCEU.

Directed by David Leitch, Deadpool 2 swan dives into theaters May 18.
