Final Killing Eve season two trailer proves Villanelle will do some hideous things for love
Let this new Killing Eve trailer serve as your friendly reminder that one of the best shows on television is returning on April 7. In the final trailer for the second season of the hit BBC America series, we learn the disgusting lengths Jodie Comer’s Villanelle will go to in order to reunite with Sandra Oh’s Eve–like willfully humiliating herself by wearing the most hideous pair of Crocs ever made. “Sometimes when you love someone, you will do crazy things,” Villanelle says before showing us exactly what Meatloaf meant when he said “I won’t do that.”
Killing Eve season two (aka the righteous female version of Hannibal) will be simulcast on BBC America and AMC when it returns on April 7. Per the official synopsis, not even a full minute has passed between the end of season one and the start of season two, which sees Villanelle and Eve continuing their wacky so-wrong-it’s-right romance-thing:
“Killing Eve” revolves around Eve (Sandra Oh), an MI6 operative, and psychopath assassin Villanelle (Jodie Comer) in this story of two women, bound by a mutual obsession and one brutal act. In the second season, the action picks up just 36 seconds after the end of the final episode of season one. Villanelle has disappeared and Eve is left reeling, having no idea if the woman she stabbed is alive or dead. With both of them in deep trouble, Eve has to find Villanelle before someone else does…but unfortunately, she’s not the only person looking for her.
