Almost 40 years and millions, if not billions of plays since its release, the John Travolta-Olivia Newton-John version of “You’re The One That I Want” is still just barely tolerable. The Grease closer is all cheese and mixed messages, with Sandy’s cigarette pants and puffed out hair. Fortunately, Andy Rehfeldt wants to help. The popular YouTube remixer has taken the Newton-John/Travolta “You’re The One That I Want” and given it a death metal twist, with Sandy growling out lines like “tell me about it, stud,” and Travolta swiveling along to epic blast beats. Accompanied by the clip from the movie, it doesn’t make a ton of sense, but that doesn’t make it great all the same.
