Two Comebacks:
Smashing Pumpkins are back and "officially" writing songs for a new album.
Except this time "Smashing Pumpkins" means "Billy Corgan and a bunch of unnamed others."
And Tamagotchis are
once again sitting in the warm little hands of sad school girls, and lonely older women everywhere.
Except this time, instead of dying in mounds of electronic poop, they can have jobs and produce offspring.
There's a connection here. I know it. I just can't figure out what it is yet.
Roundness, maybe? Manufactured melancholy? I don't know…there has to be something, right?
