Fire up the Dean Norris signal, there's more Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark
Although he’ll always be Hank to us, Dean Norris is a consistent joy pretty much anywhere he pops up on our screens (or under our domes, as the case may be). For instance: Deadline reports that Norris has just signed on for Guillermo del Toro’s upcoming horror adaptation Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark.
There’s no word yet on which of author Alvin Schwartz’s doomed protagonists Norris will be playing—although buddy, if you start to notice a Red Spot on your cheek, for the love of god, DON’T SCRATCH—but he’ll be joined by a couple of other newcomers to the project, including Ally McBeal’s Gil Bellows and Orange Is The New Black’s Lorraine Toussaint. Del Toro is producing the film and co-writing the script, alongside writing team Kevin Hageman and Dan Hageman. Trollhunter’s André Øvredal
is set to direct.
