First Jurassic World teaser wants you to wait until Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving, for any readers who aren’t in the United States, is a holiday that’s all about catching creatures smaller than you with your stubby little forearms and then ripping them apart with your enormous jaws. It’s fitting, then, that the first official trailer for Jurassic World will be released on Thanksgiving—this Thursday, for non-Americans and calendar-averse Americans—since the Jurassic Park movies are all about families sticking together and talking about what they’re thankful for. Usually, they’re thankful for not being eaten by dinosaurs, which actually isn’t too different from most people. Anyway, it’s not Thanksgiving yet, but Universal still needs to get the hype-powered Jeep ready to roll, so it has released a quick teaser for the Jurassic World trailer to whet everyone’s appetite with quick shot of vest-wearing Chris Pratt. It also shows some dinosaurs and features a moody version of the classic Jurassic Park theme, but that stuff is all secondary to Chris Pratt’s cool vest. Jurassic Vest will be in theaters on June 12, 2015, and, again, the real trailer will be out on Thursday.
