First look at Martin Freeman as Bilbo Baggins confirms they really are making The Hobbit

Thus far all we’ve heard from Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit have been casting announcements that read like the BBC primetime listings and the sounds of the seals cracking to announce imminent apocalyptic doom. But here’s something different—photographic evidence that they might actually be making a movie down there, courtesy of Entertainment Weekly. You can see all of the new set photos over there (including a shot of Ian McKellen in his Gandalf robe, which hopefully they've aired out since last time), but above is your first look at Martin Freeman in his Bilbo Baggins guise.
