The first trailer for the fifth season of Orange Is The New Black skips the preamble and picks up right where we left off—with Daya holding a gun to the head of abusive CO Humphrey. We see Alex and Piper deciding to avoid the commotion, despite Piper’s obvious interest, and Daya struggling with the pressure around her. Then, in a black-out, there’s a gun shot. Star Danielle Brooks has said that this season will take place over the course of only three days, and this preview certainly speaks to the urgency with which the action will unfold. We’ll see what happens next when the episodes are released on June 9.
