First look at The Hunger Games confirms there is a movie named The Hunger Games

Though very nearly drowned out by that floating choir of cherubs and their incessant hosannas to the Beyoncé child, last night’s VMAs also featured the world’s first glimpse at another gestating world-changer: The Hunger Games, the adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ sci-fi trilogy that has captivated everyone with its epic casting process and potential to replace Twilight and Harry Potter as the cover-spawning franchise that keeps Entertainment Weekly afloat. Of course, it’s not much to look at, consisting mostly of Jennifer Lawrence running through the woods, sidestepping fireballs, and then shooting an arrow. “GAAAAAAAAHHHH Katniss would never shoot an arrow like that!” someone is saying on a Hunger Games fan site, probably.
