First The Dark Knight Rises teaser attached to Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part Two this weekend
It’s just over a year until the release date of Christopher Nolan’s third Batman film The Dark Knight Rises on July 20, 2012, and though the Internet has been ablaze with rumors from the set and grainy pictures from afar, there hasn’t been much in the way of official footage or images until now.
The news broke first on SuperheroHype that the first teaser trailer for The Dark Knight Rises will be attached to the final Harry Potter film starting this Thursday. It runs just over a minute and a half, and will play in all release formats—2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D. There’s no word yet on whether the trailer will resemble the first teaser for Batman Begins or the audio-only teaser for The Dark Knight, but since Nolan likes to play things pretty close to the vest, expect something closer to the latter.
