Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne launching his own "adult-themed" comic book
Just in time for A.V. Club Comics Week 2013 comes news that Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne has written his first-ever comic book, The Sun Is Sick. As made obvious by both the naked breasts and dismembered giant eye on the cover, Coyne’s comic is not for kids. Described as a “full-color psychedelic fantasy in classic comic book form,” the book will go on sale this weekend at Comic-Con 2013 and will be available starting July 22 via the online Flaming Lips store.
The Lips have a number of tour dates this summer, including stops in both Lewiston, New York and Tokyo, Japan. A full list is below.
