Flavor Flav arrested on charges of battery, assault with a deadly weapon

Flavor Flav (real name William Drayton, Jr.) was arrested this morning in Las Vegas on charges of assault with a deadly weapon and battery. The Public Enemy rapper allegedly threatened a teenager in his home with a knife, at which point Flav's fiancée called the police. She said the rapper had also hit her. It’s not clear whether the teen is related to Flav.

He was hauled to the clink around 3:30 a.m., took a pretty sad looking mugshot, and was released on $23,000 bail. He’s due in court  on Oct. 18 to face the charges.
