Flipping randomly through TV news

What with our T.V. Club blog launching and Seth Green's tiny mug splashed across our cover, it's safe to say we're all a little obsessed with ye olde boob tube this week. In that spirit, let's take a look at some TV-related news making the rounds today:

– Speaking of Seth Green, his old Buffy co-star Charisma Carpenter is the first signee to Donald Trump's new grand-social-experiment-gone-awry, The Apprentice: Celebrity Edition. How long until The Donald makes some lame joke about her first name? Five minutes in? Two seconds? (Thanks to Pop Candy for the tip.)

– This is kind of sad: The building that stood in for Wernham Hogg on BBC's The Office is being demolished and replaced with a glass tower. On a side note, who would have guessed that any building in Slough was worth £36 million?

– Speaking of British-sitcoms-turned-NBC-shows, the forthcoming adaption of The IT Crowd that NBC had scheduled as a mid-season replacement is more than likely never going to make it into production. This is disappointing, because the original isn't half-bad, plus I have sort of a man-crush on Joel McHale. But on the upside, maybe this means McHale will keep doing The Soup indefinitely! Hurray!
