Because making a Death Cab For Cutie album apparently isn’t challenging enough, Ben Gibbard has taken it upon himself to mash together ODB’s “Shimmy Shimmy Ya” and DJ Kool’s “Let Me Clear My Throat.” The product—which will hopefully play at Seattle Mariners games for all eternity—is streaming now via Gibbard’s Soundcloud page and is, as one might expect given both the source material and the maker, pretty damn good.
