Former NBA All-Star Baron Davis is a true renaissance man

On the court, former professional basketball player Baron Davis was a two-time NBA All-Star, McDonald’s All-American, and Andrei Kirilenko’s worst nightmare. Off the court, he’s an entrepreneur, philanthropist, and filmmaker. He recently guest-starred in season three of Mozart In The Jungle, produced the 2008 Emmy-nominated documentary Crips And Bloods: Made In America, and co-directed the upcoming Showtime documentary The Drew: No Excuse, Just Produce. At the SXSW premiere of The Drew, we spoke with Davis about his dreams of making movies, and how he’s always viewed himself as a storyteller.
