Forrest MacNeil takes on the elements in a very special episode of Review
Here’s what’s up in the world of TV for Thursday, March 30. All times are Eastern.
Top pick
Review (Comedy Central, 10 p.m.): Comedy Central remains cagy on the subject of just how short Review’s shortened final season will be, so fans of life-experience critic Forrest MacNeil would be well-advised to tune in to tonight’s episode. (Also, you’re intelligent people who can draw your own conclusions based on the episode titles on the Comedy Central website.) Tackling subjects that pose a greater threat to his well-being than previous assignments involving months-old fast food, murder, and leading a cult (or eating 30 pancakes, even), Andy Daly’s modern-day Job dips into the mysterious world of cryogenics and then agrees to be struck by lightning. Our own Emily L. Stephens is standing by, prepared to offer her own starred ratings in the event that Forrest is unable to fulfill his duties.
Regular coverage
Grey’s Anatomy (ABC, 8 p.m.)
Riverdale (The CW, 8 p.m.)
Scandal (ABC, 9 p.m.)
Colony (USA, 10 p.m.)
Wild card
Secret Lives Of The Super Rich (CNBC, 11 p.m.): Workers of the world, cast off the shackles of capitalism and unite against the forces that would oppress you! Or, at the very least, get pissed about the obscene opulence displayed in back-to-back episodes of this CNBC series, one of which promises to depict (with apparently zero irony or consideration for the general state of the world) an “underground estate.”
