Recently unattached from the defunct-ish New Line following its total absorption into the Warner Bros. hive mind, producers Bob Shaye and Michael Lynne have found a first project in the form of Isaac Asimov's Foundation trilogy, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Will this be a faithful, multi-film adaptation ala New Line's Lord Of The Rings movies? Will it be an Asimov-in-name-only movie like I, Robot? Even the science of psychohistory does not have the answer.
