Fox announces premiere dates for The Gifted, Ghosted, and more

Fox doesn’t have any revivals of classic sitcoms or new adaptations of popular movies on its fall TV schedule, but it does have X-Men-related show, a live-action Star Trek parody from Seth MacFarlane, and a show about Adam Scott and Craig Robinson hunting supernatural creatures. Now Fox has announced when you’ll get to see that new stuff, as well as returning old stuff. The network reveals in a press release that MacFarlane’s The Orville will kick off the fall season after a pair of NFL games on September 10. That show will return a week later, and then the Tuesday after that—September 26—will feature the premieres of Lethal Weapon, The Mick, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine. The other new shows won’t arrive until October, with Ghosted joining the usual Sunday block of Bob’s Burgers, The Simpsons, Family Guy, and Last Man On Earth on October 1. Then the new season of Lucifer and the series premiere of The Gifted will debut on October 2.
