Like so many of its viewers around week three, Fox has decided to give up on Terra Nova and cancel the time-travelin’ dinosaur drama—and in the spirit of the show, the killing happened way off-screen, and you’re only hearing about it second-hand. Trust us, it’s just way more dramatic when you get to use your imagination, and it doesn’t cost us anything. But also in keeping with the spirit of the show—which endured two mass purges of creative staff and many months of delays before America saw a single green-screened dinosaur, so unflappable was the studio's faith in Steven Spielberg—20th Century Fox TV says that even if the network doesn't want it, they still believe in Terra Nova and plan to shop it elsewhere. (They don’t mention Syfy explicitly, because you have to play coy with these things.)
