Fox picks up Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone’s pilot project

Just a few days after ordering a pilot for a show called Type A, Fox has picked up another pilot related to type-A personalities. This one’s called Amy’s Brother, and it first went into development in September. The pilot comes from executive producers Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone, and it’s about “an unconventional family” that comes together when “a successful type-A man and his estranged sister” find themselves living together. According to Variety, the project itself was created by Jim Cashman and Mitch Silpa, who both had small roles in the McCarthy movies The Boss, Bridesmaids, Spy, and The Heat.

It doesn’t sound like any casting details have been announced yet.
