Fox renews Bones for a tenth season of bones on bones on bones, bones it back to Monday

Fox has renewed the sturdy backbone of its drama lineup, Bones, for a tenth season, announcing at the same time that the show would also be moving from Friday back to its old Monday slot at 8 p.m., where it first made its bones. At some point, the adventures of Dr. Bones, Agent Bones, and all their friends at the Federal Bureau of Bones—including Boniva Boneparte, Boner Stabone, and the gruff yet lovable Captain Gnaw McBone—have pondered bone-related boners on every single weeknight, yet they’ve managed to retain a strong and loyal following, thanks to its lighthearted take on the crime procedural and plenty of calcium. Stretching Bones into a tenth year means it’s one step closer to its Stalinist goal of building a railroad of bones across the history of television.
