Fox will begin Making History in March

Fox has set up shop at the Television Critics Association winter press tour, where it will reign alongside its cable arm, FX, for the next two days. There’s lots of news to come, beginning with premiere dates for its spring lineup. First up is the Adam Pally vehicle—well, actually, the time machine’s not exactly a thing on wheels—Making History. When we teased the show in our winter/spring preview, the premiere hadn’t yet been scheduled, but it’s now been set for March 5 at 8:30 p.m. ET. No word yet on if and how the reduced episode order has affected the show.

Fox also announced the premiere date for a new reality competition series, Kicking & Screaming, which will see real-life survivalists paired with “pampered” individuals as they’re sent on various adventures (the conflict will come from their differences, you see). You can look forward to watching those worlds collide on March 9 at 9 p.m. ET.

Gina Prince-Blythewood’s drama, Shots Fired, will kick off on March 22 at 8 p.m. The limited series will center on a pair of racially-charged shootings in a small Southern town. Sanaa Lathan, who previously worked with Prince-Blythewood on Love & Basketball, will lead the small-screen investigations. Shots Fired also stars Stephan James, Helen Hunt, Stephen Moyer, and Richard Dreyfuss.

Finally, the Prison Break revival will be televised beginning April 4 at 9 p.m. ET. Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller have reteamed to execute another daring escape, which apparently involves resurrecting one of them first. We’ll have more info about the content of the shows after those panels.
