Frances Bean Cobain: 'Twitter should ban my mother' after Love alleges Dave Grohl put the moves on her
Courtney Love’s ranting has gotten so de rigueur that it really takes something for people to really notice, so she’s stepped it up a notch: Last night on her private Twitter account (@cbabymichelle)—bio: well , i shouldnt really be here so pretend im not, as long as i dont use it when i get pissed off, well all be fine. 140 characters? whose that dumb?—she alleged that Foo Fighters frontman and Love nemesis Dave Grohl put the moves on Frances Bean, Love’s daughter with Kurt Cobain. Here’s the first tweet, weird spelling and punctuation hers of course:
i hear from frannies roommate that @davegrohl hit on frances, and that she was curious , i’m not mad at her, him i am about to shoot, dead
Gawker collected them all—including this gem “dave tried to fuck me a lot and i always thought he had that romney rape thing about him he fucked all my pals”—and featured a statement from Grohl denying it (“absolutely untrue”), which young Frances corroborates via a statement she just released through Grohl’s publicist:
While I'm generally silent on the affairs of my biological mother, her recent tirade has taken a gross turn. I have never been approached by Dave Grohl in more than a platonic way. I'm in a monogamous relationship and very happy.
Twitter should ban my mother.
As Gawker notes, @davegrohl belongs to a German student who hasn’t tweeted since 2008. Whoops! He should get the same lawyer as those people Spike Lee tweeted.
