Fred Durst recognizes that no one likes Limp Bizkit anymore
Despite his claim earlier this year than Limp Bizkit was getting “back in this ho,” Fred Durst says that he knows that no one in the U.S. really gives two shits about his band anymore. Durst told British publication Kerrang! that the band is boycotting America and doesn’t tour here because they don’t “wanna go out like that,” noting later in the interview that in his homeland, “We were a moment in time and it’s over.”
The Bizkit had a U.S. tour planned last year, but it was cancelled due to low ticket sales and an overall dour financial outlook. None of that is Fred Durst’s fault, according to Fred Durst, who chalks it up to America being “the home of corporations,” but that Limp Bizkit is “just Limp Bizkit, so we don’t know how to do anything but Limp Bizkit,” blatantly ignoring the fact that Limp Bizkit could always just break up.
