French actor Omar Sy joins Jurassic World
The Jurassic Park series is about to be brought back to life thanks to hastily explained science involving fossilized mosquitos from 1993 and a cartoon DNA man, and more and more actors are jumping into their brightly colored Jeeps so they can be part of the fun. As reported by Deadline, the latest person to offer himself up as dinosaur food is Omar Sy, a French actor most notable for starring in one of France’s most successful films ever, 2011’s The Intouchables. He’ll be joining Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, New Girl’s Jake Johnson, BD Wong (who will be reprising his role from the original), and a number of prehistoric monsters that have yet to be cast in the Colin Trevorrow-directed resuscitation of the beloved series of dinosaur movies.
Anyone eager to see how Sy fares against giant computer-generated enemies can see him take on the mutant-killing Sentinels in X-Men: Days Of Future Past this May, in which he’ll play futuristic X-Man Bishop. Jurassic World is set to be released at some point in 2015.
