Frightened Rabbit singer Scott Hutchison is missing
Scott Hutchison, lead singer for Scottish indie band Frightened Rabbit, has been reported as missing by his family. The BBC reports he is currently believed to be in Edinburgh and police are reaching out to the public for any information regarding his location. The band has posted a statement saying he may be in a “fragile state”:
Hutchison’s disappearance follows a series of several tweets the singer sent Tuesday evening, ending with one that simply read, “I’m away now. Thanks.” Closed circuit TV at the Dakota Hotel in South Queensferry, where he was visiting, shows him on camera shortly before vanishing during the night.
Of the disappearance, Inspector Graeme Dignan says: “We are keen to locate Scott as soon as possible to ensure he is safe and well and would urge anyone who can assist with our ongoing inquiries to come forward. If you believe you have seen him since the early hours of Wednesday morning or know where he currently is, then please contact police immediately. I’d also urge Scott to get in touch with family, friends or with police, to let us know he is alright.”
