From the dept. of semi-self-promotion: Here's Jason Heller discussing Taft 2012 on NPR

In case you missed our proud crowing over our own Jason Heller’s new novel Taft 2012—an excerpt from which we already posted on The A.V. Club refrigerator, for everyone to see—our own Jason Heller wrote a novel called Taft 2012 and it’s rightfully getting a lot of attention, even from people who are not his coworkers. Not only because Heller is a sharp, funny writer who combined a timely satire of the 2012 presidential campaign with imaginative speculative fiction, but also because the book has a lot of pretty primary colors on the cover, and those are pleasing to the eye. Anyway, NPR is just the latest to sing Heller’s praises, inviting him onto today’s “Morning Edition” for an interview that you can listen to here. And we recommend this to you even though at no point does Heller so much as mention The A.V. Club, essentially stepping right on our face in his climb to the top of the literary world.
