FromSoftware announces violent samurai game Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
Microsoft has had an issue courting third-party developers recently, with most of the good stuff landing exclusively on PlayStation 4 instead of appearing on Xbox, but during its E3 presentation Microsoft revealed a new trailer from a studio that’s synonymous with “good stuff.” We’re referring to FromSoftware, the Dark Souls and Bloodborne people, which has just announced Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, a bloody new action game of some sort involving a warrior with a cool prosthetic arm who has a hard time dying.
The game was first teased with a ridiculously brief teaser back in December that told us literally nothing, but this new trailer makes it clear that this is definitely a FromSoftware game—even if all of the sunshine is a little jarring. We might know more about the game as E3 goes along, but for now all we can offer is that it’s coming to PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
