This full trailer for Legends Of Tomorrow, the super spin-off of Arrow and The Flash, contains the line, “I’ve seen men of steel die and dark knights fall.” When you have something dripping with as much fan service as that, do you really need to know anything else about Legends Of Tomorrow to decide if it’ll be worth watching? OK, well this trailer also features a futuristic London under attack from laser gun-wielding villains, Doctor Who’s Arthur Darvill as a time traveling badass, a crazy spaceship thing, Dominic Purcell as the rare scenery-chewing hero, jokes about ‘70s fashion, bad dudes with staffs, more laser guns, the Hawk people, and even a quick glimpse of the Green Arrow (in case you don’t see him enough on his own show). But seriously, “I’ve seen men of steel die and dark knights fall.” Get it?
Legends Of Tomorrow will premiere on The CW on January 21, but the final seeds for the spin-off will be planted during the upcoming Arrow/Flash crossover event on December 1.
