After literally being carried from public access to the Fusion network on the backs of his fans last spring, comedian Chris Gethard and his Chris Gethard Show will be sticking around for at least another year. According to a press release put out by the network, Fusion has picked up The Chris Gethard Show for a 10-episode second season, with the first episode premiering in March. On top of that, Fusion has also bumped each episode up from a paltry 30 minutes to a full hour (counting commercials), giving fans twice as much of Gethard’s unique talk show style as before.
Gethard has also released a weirdly badass promo video where he talks about the second season in his building’s laundry room. It’s not the sort of teaser you’d expect out of a normal talk show, but in a way it’s exactly the sort of teaser you’d expect out of The Chris Gethard Show. Never doubt the kingpin, apparently.
